The cathedral in Santiago de Compostela is so spectacular. 
It is famous for being the end point of the Camino de Santiago. 
They have services on special occasions where they burn incense in the big silver botafumeiro you can see in pic 1. It swings
Here we are grabbing a picture at one of the most famous cathedrals in Spain. You can see some tired pilgrims in the background. Of course we are in Santiago de Compostela.
The 2nd picture is of the crypt of Saint James inside the cathedral. 
We love
Alameda Park is just on the outskirts of the old town in Santiago de Compostela. It has 3 sections including this gorgeous shady path. We loved the most covered trees and if you look closely you can see ferns growing in the branches. There is a fun b
Every corner of Santiago de Compostela feels alive with history and stories. One of our favourite things to do was explore the many plazas in the old town.
